TBC Bank Uzbekistan, the largest mobile-only bank in Uzbekistan, has announced a strategic partnership with Visa to enhance its global payments and money transfer infrastructure. Part of the TBC Uzbekistan digital banking ecosystem, which serves 16 million users across Central Asia, TBC UZ aims to introduce Visa cards and expand payment solutions through Visa Direct. This partnership will improve online shopping capabilities, offer international purchasing options, and expand money transfer services for TBC’s customers.
Additionally, TBC UZ plans to provide a loyalty scheme with benefits like cashback bonuses. The Visa cards will integrate into the existing offerings of TBC Uzbekistan, which includes Payme, a digital payments app, and Payme Nasiya, an installment credit service. Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Uzbekistan, highlighted that the partnership underscores their commitment to delivering innovative financial services, while Visa’s Yevgen Lisnyak emphasized the collaboration's role in meeting the growing demand for digital financial services in Uzbekistan.
