Skyshowtime partners with Paramount Advertising International


SkyShowtime has announced an exclusive collaboration with Paramount Advertising International, entrusting the latter with the advertising sales for SkyShowtime across over 20 European markets. This partnership leverages Paramount Global’s extensive ad sales business to represent the streaming service’s new venture into ad-supported content. Slated to commence on April 23, SkyShowtime will introduce a 'Standard with Ads' subscription model, promising a premium viewing experience with minimal ad interruption — averaging four to five minutes per hour.


Monty Sarhan, CEO of SkyShowtime, emphasized the new ad-supported plan aligns with the company's goal to offer great entertainment at an affordable price, responding to the demand for more choice and flexibility among consumers. The service proudly hosts all five seasons of the hit series Yellowstone along with its spinoffs, amongst other global and local original content.


Lee Sears, Paramount’s President of International Markets Ad Sales, highlighted the strategic advantage of this partnership, combining strong marketer relationships, product offerings, and technological innovation. This initiative allows advertisers to reach audiences across Paramount’s expansive premium video inventory and SkyShowtime’s exclusive series and films, creating a comprehensive advertising platform.


The 'Standard with Ads' plan will extend to all SkyShowtime markets, including significant regions across Europe from Albania to Sweden, enriching their portfolio with accessible, high-quality, ad-supported streaming options.
