At the recent Connections event in Chicago, Salesforce introduced new generative AI products, including Einstein Copilots for marketers and merchants, and Einstein Personalization. These innovations are built on the robust Einstein 1 platform, which seamlessly integrates with Salesforce products like Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
Bobby Jania, CMO of Marketing Cloud, explained that the Einstein 1 platform, including Data Cloud, handles both structured and unstructured data, enhancing customer profiles without data duplication. This is a significant improvement from earlier solutions that required data movement between products.
Salesforce customers can also import their own datasets into Data Cloud, fostering a federated data model that analyzes all data to form comprehensive customer profiles. Einstein Copilot acts as an intelligent assistant for various use cases like marketing and shopping, while Einstein Personalization recommends next-best actions based on holistic customer data.
Additionally, Salesforce ensures data safety with the Einstein Trust Layer, which removes personally identifiable information before data interacts with large language models (LLMs), logs all outputs, and reintegrates secure data back into the system. These enhancements aim to provide more personalized, efficient, and secure business operations for Salesforce users.
