Google Pay has rolled out three new features to enhance online shopping security, convenience, and smart spending. First, the platform now shows card benefits at checkout for American Express and Capital One users on Chrome desktop, simplifying the decision-making process by highlighting the best rewards for each purchase. Second, Google Pay has expanded its “buy now, pay later” options, integrating providers like Affirm and Zip across more merchant sites and Android apps in the U.S., allowing shoppers to link existing accounts or sign up anew.
Lastly, Google Pay is enhancing autofill on Chrome and Android by enabling users to verify card details using biometric methods—fingerprint, face scan, or PIN—ensuring a faster and more secure checkout without manually entering security codes. These updates aim to provide a safer and more efficient online shopping experience.
